Cheshunt Fabrications Ltd prides itself in its continuous investment in technology. We run several high end CAD CAM software packages which are all DNC lnked to the production machinery. With over six different software packages to compliment manufacture we are able to import most drawing formats, this enables us to receive drawings electronically and negates the need to redraw client projects, we are also happy to redraw from paper drafts.

Once drawings are converted to a format native to our cad systems the cam will then automatically tool the parts ready for manufacture. The cam  will also dissimilar nest all parts to ensure the best sheet utilisation is maintained. The cam will then pass the cnc coded programmes directly to the machines via a dnc link.

We also run full design software which enables us to truly model in 3D, we  can create visuals for customer comment to ensure the required item is  aethetically acceptable. From a manufacturing point of view the 3D drafting allows us to build sub assemblies and have total confidence that all fix points and attached parts will work without any need for reworking, this enables us to minimise our running costs for production.

We appreciate the need to value engineer products and invite customers to work in partnership, often we will design along side the end user which enables us to implement our knowledge of manufacturing at grass routes to ensure the the result will conclude within budget.
